I'm not a huge hockey fan, minus tuning in for the excitement of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. This year's final round, however, is proving to be somewhat of a bore as the New York Rangers dropped their third straight game to the Los Angeles Kings at Madison Square Garden last night.
The Rangers lost 3-0 thanks to goals by Jeff Carter, Jake Muzzin and Mike Richards, placing them in a three-games-to-none series deficit. Should tomorrow's game once again end in victory for the Kings, the team will walk away as Stanley Cup champions for only the second time in team history.
Game four of the Stanley finals begins at 8 pm tomorrow night at Madison Square Garden. Only four teams have managed to come back from a 3-0 deficit. Always rooting for the underdog, I'll be hoping for at least a couple of Ranger wins in the coming days.
